What Doesn’t Move Quality Score? (The Myths)
Myth 1: Higher Bids Improve Quality Score

A new keyword in a legacy account starts with the same baseline as a new keyword in a new account. There is a nuance here: Google uses display URL-level CTR history as one signal. If your domain has accumulated years of strong CTR data across many keywords, new keywords on that domain may benefit slightly from that history.
